The Singapore Zoo has been known for having among the most beautiful wildlife park settings in the world, where animals roam freely in open and naturalistic habitats. The 26-hectare wildlife park is home for more than 2,800 animals representing over 300 species of mammals, birds and reptiles. Singapore Zoo will received over 1.6 millions visitors ever year and is the nine-time winner of the coveted Best Leisure Attraction Experience award by the Singapore Tourism Board.

It is the first zoo in the world with a free-ranging orang utan habitat that features the charismatic apes in natural surroundings. Through the Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife programme you will be treated with a scrumptious international buffet and you’ll also be having it in the company of the family of free-ranging orang utans.

It also well-known with its walk-through exhibits that bring animals and visitors together in one space for incredibly intimate encounters. It has features 11 zones including Primate Kingdom, Reptile Garden, Frozen Tundra, Australasia and etc, each taking you through some of the most distinctive global wildlife habitats in the world. The visitor can travel with the guided trams or trek on foot at your own leisurely pace, to experience the most distinctive global wildlife habitats of the world.

Another highlight of the park is Rainforest Kidzworld. The children can enjoy a never-ending list of fun activities such as feeding and petting goats or go on a pony ride. Have a splashing good time in the watery playground and head over to the Pets’ Corner to see rabbits, chicks, and more pint-sized furry friends.

The Singapore Zoo animal shows also a must-see for both young and old. The shows are a time to marvel at the incredible beauty and abilities of the animals and appreciate the special bond between them and their trainers. The popular animal shows such as the Splash Safari Show, Rainforest Fight Back Show and Elephants at Work and Play Show. In addition, in order to have a close encounter with the animals at their most active, the visitor must not miss the Daily Token Feeding session.
